by | Physics

For my Physics Passion Project, I started by thinking about the different things that interest me and what I enjoy doing in my free time. I wanted to explore a variety of interests before deciding on a specific topic for my project. After brainstorming, I narrowed my list down to five areas that stood out to me.

Passion 1: Photography

Photography is something I enjoy because I like capturing scenery, interesting places, and random things that catch my attention. Sometimes I’ll notice something that looks nice or unusual and want to take a picture of it. I like how even ordinary places or objects can look completely different depending on the lighting or angle. Another thing I enjoy about photography is being able to look back at pictures and remember the places I’ve been or things I’ve seen. It’s interesting how a simple photo can bring back a memory that I might have otherwise forgotten. For me, photography isn’t necessarily about taking the perfect picture, but more about capturing things that I find interesting and being able to look back at them later.

Passion 2: Engineering and Design

Engineering and design interest me because I like understanding how things are built and how they work. One thing I’ve always found interesting is how large buildings can stay standing for so many years, even after being exposed to different weather conditions and other forces. It’s impressive how much planning and design must go into making these structures strong and reliable. I’m also curious about how machines work and how all their different parts come together to perform a specific task. The same goes for technology, since we use so many devices every day without really thinking about how they function. I enjoy learning about what goes on behind the scenes and how people come up with designs that make these things possible.

Passion 3: Video Games

Video games are one of my favourite ways to spend my free time, especially first-person shooters and games that have interesting stories. I really enjoy playing competitive games against my friends because it’s fun trying to outplay each other and see who does better. I like how these games require quick reactions, strategy, and making decisions in the moment. Apart from competitive games, I also enjoy story-based games because they give me something different to experience. I like following the storyline, getting to know the characters, and seeing how everything plays out. What I enjoy most about gaming is that I can have fun competing with my friends, but I can also play something on my own when I just want to relax and enjoy a good story.

Passion 4: Cars and Driving

Cars are something I’ve become more interested in, especially electric cars. What interests me most is how quickly electric car technology is improving and how much more efficient these vehicles are becoming. I find it impressive that cars can run entirely on electricity while still having great performance. Another thing I like about electric cars is how they can save money in the long run, since charging is often cheaper than constantly paying for gas. I’m also curious about how their batteries and electric motors work and how manufacturers keep finding ways to improve them. With electric cars becoming more advanced every year, I’m interested to see what they’ll be capable of in the future.

Passion 5: Technology and Electronics

Technology and electronics are things I’ve always been interested in, especially robotics and artificial intelligence. I find it impressive how robots can perform complicated tasks and how AI can help people solve problems and get things done more easily. I’m also curious about how the electronics behind these technologies work and how different components come together to make a machine or device function. What interests me most is how quickly technology is advancing and how much it has already changed our everyday lives. I like thinking about how we could use robotics and AI in even more ways to make things easier, faster, and more efficient. With so many new developments happening, I’m excited to see what technology will be capable of in the future.
